I've found my new favourite place and it rocks! The trio platter delivered an abundance of flavour in every bite. The rice, cooked to perfection. It was so delicious, I couldn't stop to take a full picture of the platter! Highly recommended!

We ordered the trio platter(£20) some fries(£4) & couple of drinks(£6). We called up literally 5 mins before closing time to ask if it’s possible to still order & the friendly polite, member of staff assured us it was good to go. We also didn’t see an option of just wings alone instead a wings platter which would’ve been to much for me & my partner to share on top of what we already was ordering, so we asked if we could order something instead and if they could replace it with just a portion of wings; the lovely gentleman told us we didn’t need to and he’d add this to our order on the house which was an amazing gesture which we really appreciate, not just that, to our surprise we got extra pots of sauce and extra couple drinks.

Now the food: This trio platter is next level! The meats are juicy, smoky, and seasoned to perfection – proper flavor bomb 💥. You’ve got tikka, kebabs, and tender chicken all lined up like a dream team, sitting on a bed of fluffy jasmine rice that just soaks up all the goodness. Add the fresh salad + dips on the side and it’s game over – this is a serious feast. 10/10 recommend if you’re hungry and want something that slaps 👌🔥 Now let’s talk about star of the show - These wings… wow 😮🔥. Perfect char on the outside, juicy inside, and packed with flavor in every bite. They’ve got that smoky, grilled vibe that makes you wanna lick your fingers clean. Honestly, once you start, you ain’t stopping – addictive is an understatement. Must-order if you love wings, trust me 🙌🍗

Thanks to this restaurant for the extras & this is our new go to spot now when we’re feeling something to fill us up yet still somewhat healthier than other options and very delicious 10/10 place would defo recommend! 💯💯

FAT CHEF (Authentic Indian Kitchen) Halal

My husband went to collect food today from this Indian takeaway. We ordered a king prawn jalfrazi and chicken vindaloo, and it was absolutely delicious! The food was full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Definitely ordering from Fat Chef again!

Was really yummy. One of the best Indian food’s I’ve had in London, at a really affordable price with big portions and fantastic value for price. Will definitely come again! Delivery was also very quick!

Shah's Halal Food Walthamstow

Amazing food, amazing staff, very friendly and polite, clean and the green sauce is good. Musa welcomed us very nicely.

Especially when habibi came from upstairs we just had a laugh and enjoyed our time. Well recommend.

Shah’s is a good place for chicken and rice, with sauce and salad. They are generous with meat and rice - wish I could have gotten a bit more salad. Also think they gave me a bit too much white sauce - I like the spicy sauce better.

An improvement would be the trays. A study found that 85% of black plastic was shown to have high levels of flame retardants, including food trays.

Absolutely outstanding experience at Shah’s Halal Food! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a spotless, clean atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The food? Incredible. First time trying the Walthamstow branch and they did not disappoint! Portions were huge and taste was great too. Right next to the mall entrance too so quite convenient. Will definitely be back. We got the chicken over rice with white and green sauce as it’s the best item on the menu I’m not a fan of their lamb but chicken is chefs kiss. Servers don’t come across as friendly bubbly maybe that’s their personality but other than that tasty food for good prices.

Came here for lunch to try out the chicken & rice platter.
It was flavoursome, well cooked & tasted great.
However the salad did not look fresh & they could have been more generous with the sauce.

One of the best halal food places I’ve tried in Central London near the BT Tower! The taste is unmatched, portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are friendly and supportive, making the whole experience even better. They also have a convenient self-checkout system for ordering food, which is quick and easy. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for top-quality halal food in London.

The food was decent, but the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. The service was slow—we waited in a long queue just to get our portion, and the cramped seating made it hard to enjoy the meal comfortably. If you’re looking for a quick, reliable bite in the area, you might find better value elsewhere. Hopefully, they can improve on speed and quality control!

Chicken on salad was delicious, and an amazing value. White sauce tasted kinda like ranch. Green sauce is minty. Red sauce has a nice kick.

Absolutely amazing experience at Shah’s Halal Food in Soho. The food was fresh, packed with flavor, and perfectly cooked — I had the [insert dish, e.g. chicken over rice], and it was honestly one of the best halal meals I’ve had in London.

The service was 10/10 — super friendly, fast, and welcoming. You can tell the team really cares about their food and their customers.

If you’re hungry and looking for a healthy fulfilling proper meal, Shahs Halal it is!

- Chicken Rice Box - The chicken is well marinated and succulent. The rice is properly cooked. The salad mixed with the chickpeas give the meal a tasty crunch, while the garlic and coriander sauce on top compliments the meal, giving it a flavoursome finish.

Will definitely recommend to those who haven’t tried it or those who are hungry and after something fulfilling, well priced and tasty!

If disappointment had a taste, it would be this meal! oil which they used  kind of different taste don’t feel it’s normal .. . Even my microwave meals taste better. Never try again…..

it was delectable, great service, great food, needed after a long day-10/10

Cheap and cheerful meal, much better than all the fast food in the area. I has the chicken & lamb over rice. Chicken was tasty and the rice had that Afgan pilau flavour.
However, the lamb was more like frozen lamb burger patties cut up, rather than actual lamb meat off the bone but paid £7 so expected. The green chutney also has the sour, zesty Afgan taste.
Overall, not somewhere I'd eat from everyday but still a tasty, homemade meal.

First, I saw this street vendor selling halal food, and I decided to try several different foods.
I tried the chicken and rice, and it was 10/10 highly recommended. The flavour of the chicken was so tasty, and the sauces they put on top compliments the food.
Then I tried the chicken gyro, and it was a disaster. All the liquid soaked into the bread, and it wasn't pleasant having if highly not recommend this.
They didn't have any falafel even though it shows on the menu, and I was informed they no longer do It as it's time-consuming to make.
Also, they no longer give NHS discounts.
They accept card payments.

The portion is large enough, healthy, compared to what I normally eat, overall I liked it, only thing I didn’t like is rice wasn’t hot enough. but the guys there were really nice and provided me with great customer service.

All I can say is thank you so much, This specific shah’s halal food never skimps out on portions and we always have great banter when ordering online. They treat me well and always make sure I get it extra spicy like how I specify it in the notes. They are legends who ever makes the platter it explodes with flavour. I always come here after working out and oh my goodness it’s so good GENUINELY 1000000/10 everything about the food is amazing. It’s right next to the train station too making it so convenient. I got the chip platters and tried both chicken AND lamb, it’s so good. I really recommend it to anyone who’s just craving for some good food that’s £10 and under.

Excellent food! The colours of the logo makes it hard to miss as you drive by. I’ve always wanted to try this place since I first saw it. When I did try it, I regretted not trying it when I first saw it! I’m a fan of spicy food, and usually places don’t meet my expectations when they add their level of spice… but this place made it perfectly! The portion served was perfect too.

Halal Restaurant

I found myself warmly welcomed by the staff, especially as a rare Hong Kong local who truly appreciates their Indian cuisine. My brother had been eager to visit this place for a very long time, and I’m glad I was able to fulfill his wish. I’ve dined at this restaurant three times, and each visit has been consistently perfect. The staff are polite and attentive, and the food is always served hot. After paying the bill, they even offer orange slices and delightful candies as a finishing touch. They also took a photo for me and brought me water without me having to ask.

Ordered veg curry , chicken Biryani with dhal and a curry set (meat curry and rice). They had 30 percent off , for £16, ain’t bad food was good quality and nice, decent flavours.

Excellent old school Indian. Used to be a regular haunt of mine when I worked in the city in the 1980's before I moved overseas. Visited for the first time in about 20 years and was delighted to find that it had hardly changed and the food and service were still exceptional.

While visiting London from the US, four locals took me out for a great bit of curry at Halal Restaurant.  The host was super funny and the service was top notch.  It's no wonder that the locals schedule monthly visits here.  Great job!

Shahs Halal Food - Leytonstone High Road

I ordered from ubereats yesterday and unfortunately they didn’t get the order right, ubereats were of no help but I contacted the restaurant direct instead. Spoke to Hasnat and he was extremely helpful and gave me the correct order which I am grateful for. Very good service and food is nice as well.

I wish I could give minus 100 stars! Extremely disappointing experience. After taking my order, the staff completely forgot about it and started serving other customers who arrived after me. I waited far longer than necessary, only to be ignored. This kind of behaviour is absolutely unacceptable. Poor service, lack of professionalism, and zero respect for customers.

Ordered from Uber eats. Very disappointed. Asked for bbq sauce with the white sauce for my son. And a mango drink. Was given a cola drink and a load of green sauce on the chips platter with chicken. No way of contacting you guys as the number doesn't go through.

On a very quiet road, empty and clean, delicious food, very hot atmosphere AC needed turning on. However, couldn’t finish food but wasn’t a problem as I could package my food up to take home. Friendly staff. Good prices for the portion given plus free drink included. Will definitely come here again!!

Combo Gyros cost me £8.00 with a drink reasonable price. Combo gyros served in soft pluffy pitta bread with chicken & lamb salad plus all the sauces very nice mix flavour meat & chicken tender soft succulent very tasty.

We used this branch for an event of 30 people nearby. The food was reasonably priced, fresh and perfectly portioned. Taste and flavour profile was on point it really packed a punch. Highly recommend.

Went to the Shadwell branch and tried their food for the first time.

Got their Combo (chicken and lamb) over rice meal that comes with a drink, and it's was a very nice meal. Had all the sauces drizzled on top and the green coriander sauce was very nice. The spice levels were good. The chicken and lamb pieces were given in good portion and tasted good. The rice was nice also.

Definitely recommend to anyone out there!

Shah's Halal Food Ilford

The guys that were working was  clearly talking to eachother and not listening to my order at all! I asked for combo over rice but they gave me only chicken! They did that with not one but two boxes! One was regular size and the other was supposed to be a large! They gave us both regular!
I asked them sauce on separate container but as you can see!
Total disappointment!

We ordered takeaway today from Shah. The order said it will take 50 minutes and the delivery was made almost 2 hours later. That's not the worst of it, it was the wrong order completely. We spent £40 and no food to show for. As we had broken our fast needless to say we were hungry. Tried calling them but they didn't pick. Absolutely the worst customer service. I would give them no start but that isn't possible

Man this place is a hidden gem.

Found them on Uber Eats and thought I'd give it a try. They did not disappoint.

I got the mixed meat and chicken dish with rice and another one with chips. It was delicious. The Sauces were incredible.

Highly recommend this place.

Went there for iftar, and the service was very quick and efficient. The servers were very nice and helpful. The food was impeccable, and the portions were fantastic. I highly recommend the fries box with chicken and all the sauces.

I ordered on uber eats and there was a hair in my meat gyro. The meat from it tasted like fake food. I also order the chicken and rice the flavour was okay but the portion size is horrible. The rice looked liked it was patted down and spread out because i couldn’t even scoop a spoon of rice. It was like eating leftovers and i had to scrape it out the box.

The food is decent, but be prepared for a long wait. Even though it’s a food truck, orders are batched together - so if others order at the same time, your food won’t come out until everyone’s is ready. This has happened a few times now, so it’s not just a one-off. If you plan to visit, just know you’ll need some patience.

I’ve ordered from here 4 times and it’s always taste really good and it serves me 2 meals from one ❤️ the white sauce, hot sauce and green chilli sauce 💯 u have to add that on it’s a must. The mango and strawberry fizzy drinks are really good 👍🏼
