El Pirata Of Mayfair - Tapas Bar Español

We had such a wonderful experience here! The atmosphere is lively and authentic, perfect for a night out with friends. The seafood paella was absolutely delicious – rich in flavour, with perfectly cooked rice and generous portions of fresh prawns, squid, and mussels.

The tapas were also spot on – the garlic prawns were juicy and fragrant, the patatas bravas had the perfect crisp, and the pan con tomate tasted just like in Spain. Everything paired so well with the sangria, which was refreshing and fruity without being too sweet.

Service was friendly and attentive even though the restaurant was busy, and we never felt rushed. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to when craving proper Spanish food in London!

I chose the appetizer~
🥖Toasted Bread with Tomatoes: A truly authentic appetizer! The bread is super crispy! The freshly cut tomatoes with a little sea salt and olive oil are absolutely delicious!
🐟Grilled Cod Skewers: So fresh and tender! The meat is so tender, it looks like it's right on the cheek!
🍗Seared Chicken: This dish is so delicious! The skin is fried to a crispy crisp, and the chicken is fried just right, so soft and tender! I can't wait to order another plate of bread to finish all the sauce!
🦐Grilled Prawns in Garlic Sauce: A must-order for almost every table! Sizzling and sizzling, eat it while it's hot! The seasoning and olive oil complement the prawns so well!

🥘Seafood Paella: A Spanish must-try! The portion is huge and it's easy to slice! The side dishes included mussels, prawns, fish, and squid, perfect for two people!

🍮For dessert, we tried the caramel pudding: it was beautiful! The caramel layer was super crispy! You could literally take a chunk of caramel right off! The pudding had a rich, eggy aroma! It was the perfect ending. ~ My friend ordered the traditional Spanish cake with ice cream: it felt a bit like a nutty sponge cake, and it was delicious with the ice cream!

Amazing Spanish food! The seafood paella was full of flavour, the grilled octopus was perfectly cooked, and the sangria was fresh and fruity. Great atmosphere, friendly service – can’t wait to come back!

We spent the evening sipping on sangria and soaking up the cosy, vibrant atmosphere. The food was delicious — everything was well-prepared and full of flavour. The service was warm and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Already looking forward to my next visit — highly recommend!

A friend invited me here for group dining and wow l was seriously impressed!

They have the 5J Iberico ham and also tried the cod cheeks, which I’d never had before…super tender!  We ended up ordering a bunch of tapas to share and loved every bite.

They’ve got a downstairs area with semi private dining space; Service was friendly and fast. Not overly formal, just chill and professional.

Copita Fitzrovia Tapas Bar

We rarely had tapas like this outside of Spain! Everything was great and beautifully prepared. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The ceviche was our favourite, but everything was great. We will definitely come back.

All the dishes are cooked to perfection! I highly recommend the artichoke dish!! Martha was super friendly! We had sangria, mushroom croquettes, artichoke, tortillas, ox cheek, beef onglet, octopus and miso basque cheesecake😋😋

Loved this place! Authentic Spanish food, would definitely recommend las croquetas de jamón and the cheesecake was the best i’ve ever tried. David was fantastic, very attentive. If you’re looking for friendly,  professional service and delicious quality food, Copita is a must!

La Gamba - Spanish Tapas Bar & Restaurant

Came here with my boyfriend for our anniversary. Miguel welcomed us in like we were his family. He was super attentive and friendly! He gave us two glasses of bubbles to celebrate our anniversary which was a lovely touch. Food was absolutely amazing from start to finish! From the tasty jamón,pulpo scallops everything we enjoyed.We were so full but managed to squeeze in desserts!  Definitely would recommend and we will be back soon! Thank you !

Nice restaurant, we went for the bottomless sangria brunch. The food is pretty good, very generous portions with three tapas per person, we couldn’t even finish it all. The sangria is not the best I have ever had, but you can drink it quite easily! We also had a bottle of Cava (included in the bottomless) so can’t really complain. Service needs some improvement, generally very slow, which  is not really what you want during a 90 minutes brunch; we also had one waiter with a bit of an attitude…so when we found a £33 discretionary service charge it was quite the surprise. We paid anyway as in the end the food was good.

Trendy and upbeat meets family owned and operated at this River front restaurant on the Thames. It is a must go to when visiting London for a modern take on true tapas recipes straight from Spain. The aubergine is a must when visiting here. The staff is attentive and inclusive to all nationalities, treating each table like you are a part of their own family when dining here.

Bit of a mixed experience today. Some highlights but a couple of lows too. Overall though a fairly decent meal. First positives initially had a warm welcome and service was quick and food came quickly too. Jamon croquettes, aubergine, and asparagus where great, patatas brava was average and mussels tasted really good , but some were very gritty. Lows included overcooked cod cheeks , although caper sauce was nice, and chicken thighs a bit dry and just nothing, cooked better myself last weekend. Would probably give it another go as may have been unlucky. Service at times was a bit perfunctory. Desert was glorious, torrija, sorry didn't get a photo of that one , meaning we left on a high.

Camino Shoreditch

The food was generally very good, but the mushroom coca was truly unique and special — the best mushrooms I’ve ever tasted. The succulent pig was a little on the dry side, but everything else was excellent. The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was beautiful, with wonderfully tasteful décor.

Firstly, the service was top notch. Lovely, friendly staff. The food was as good as I’ve had in Barcelona. They even got it out to me in a couple of minutes as I was in a rush. 10/10 will be back.

Ended up going twice on two consecutive nights! Really nice tapas, selection wasn't huge but everything I had was really well done. Ended up trying both the tomato bread, tortilla, ox cheek, flattened pork, croquettes, bravas, padron peppers and the cheesecake. Everything was really tasty. Cheesecake in particular was incredible - creamy but not too sweet. Prices were about what I expect for the area. Service from Sergio and the other guy (sorry didnt catch his name!) was really friendly and attentive. Will 100% be back when I'm in the area again.

Went to Camino a while back for a bit of dinner with an old pal and it was a really enjoyable experience. The place was quiet (which is why I’ve only given 4 stars for atmosphere) but the food was great, the wine was delicious and the over experience was top notch.

Highly recommend Camino if you are looking for somewhere for good quality tapas that’s centre to the City or Shoreditch

Really good tapas dishes with decent portions. We had 6 plates between the 2 of us and that was enough to fill us up. It was relatively quiet as it was a sat afternoon but would expect it to be busy in the evenings. Would definitely recommend

Jamon Jamon

We had a fantastic experience at Jamon Jamon Camden! The tapas were delicious, the chorizo and chicken paella was perfectly cooked. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and a special mention to the new manager, Isa, who gave us great recommendations and made us feel at home.

If you love authentic Spanish food with excellent service, this is the place to go!

Staff were nice enough and did came out in a timely way, it was hot. Had 5 plates, 2 were good the others were OK. The bravas is best described as small cubed fries with two sauces on the side. At nearly £7..well...so I would say the food was average compared to other Spanish tapas I have had at this price point. No major complaints but first visit for 5 plates and that will be my only visit.

My interest in visiting this place was because I saw that Amy Winehouse loved to eat there.
That's why I went there and I eat Spanish food (I had already tried Spanish food when I was in Barcelona and Madrid).
So this place is very nice, the atmosphere, the food, the service and the music and it’s close to the bus station, metro, pubs, etc. I love it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the delectable dishes at the restaurant.

The culinary experience was exceptional as we indulged in a variety of items

1.  gamas
2. Chorizo
3. Paella with seafood,
4. paella with ink,
5. calamari.

Each dish left a lasting impression with its incredible flavors, making the overall dining experience immensely satisfying.

The service and ambiance added to the positive experience; everything was simply outstanding, leaving no room for complaints. The staff provided excellent service, contributing to the overall pleasant vibe of the place.

Tip: Reserve to dine at Soho for a delightful experience.

We chanced upon this when we were looking for a place to eat. And we are really glad we did. The food is good. And the restaurant feels airy and inviting. I particularly like the natural daylight coming through the glass roof. The mushrooms and the prawns are highly recommended.

I passed by Frida one month ago. I was attracted by its decoration. Today my friend asked me do you have any new restaurant want to explore? I said I have one! So we are here! We ordered spicy beef nachos and Chicken Fajitas , passion fruit and mango Margaritas! Absolutely delicious!!!! I highly recommend!

Table for 5 booked for 5pm on a Saturday evening. It wasn't too busy when we arrived and they were expecting our arrival which was nice.
Service was great and food arrived promptly. Good vegan and veggie options too. We really enjoyed the experienceand we left full. We're looking forward to coming back here. It might be our new favourite place in Camden

Overall the experience at Frida was average. Not bad but just not great either. The food was okay but over priced for what it was

We came here for breakfast on a recent trip to Camden as the other cafes were busy, I'm glad we did as the food and service were very good. The young lady waiting on our table was very polite and efficient. There was a good choice of food for both meat eaters and vegetarians.
