Brilliant value for money. A no nonsense simple interior where food is the focus. Hands down the best lamb bhuna I've ever eaten at a restaurant (et's see if they're consistent the next time I go!) incredibly basic quintessential salad expected in a curry house. The lamb Mandi was fantastic, in particular the pilau rice with roasted almonds. The only real disappointment was the side order of pilau rice, it was as big as it was flavourless and a suspicious yellow colour, reminiscent of the sunflower yellow veg rice packets I grew up with. A minor setback from an otherwise lovely meal. Will definitely return in the future. The staff were brilliant and super helpful A job well done.

We visited London and our family members decided to go to Zaiqa. We ordered a bunch of food items, such as: dynamite prawns, masala fish, zaiqa platter and mixed mandi platter. We also ordered 2 mojito jugs, which was really refreshing. Then karak chai at the end. The dynamite prawns were okay, it was missing a little flavour. We enjoyed the masala fish but it could have been better as the batter was crumbling off. We enjoyed the items that came in the zaiqa platter. I really liked the rice that came with the mandi - it was light and fluffy. However we all thought the lamb shank lacked flavour but the chicken on the other hand was really nice. Overall good experience with family and I cannot fault the service, it was great from start to finish.

I had the pleasure of visiting Zaiqa London Restaurant today for a dinner invitation, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, with a comfortable setting that made it perfect for enjoying a relaxed meal with friends and family. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. One of the highlights of the evening was the Lamb Mandi – it was incredibly tender, perfectly spiced, and full of rich, aromatic flavors. The rice was fluffy and paired perfectly with the succulent lamb. We also had the Special Iftaar Platter, which was a wonderful mix of traditional items that brought back the true spirit of Ramadan. The samosas and pakoras were crispy on the outside and well-seasoned on the inside – you could tell they were freshly made. Everything tasted homemade, yet refined. To end the meal, we were served tea, which was absolutely superb – the perfect blend of spices and warmth to round off the evening. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout, ensuring we had everything we needed. Service was prompt and polite, and the overall experience felt both authentic and memorable. I highly recommend Zaiqa London to anyone looking for delicious South Asian cuisine in a welcoming environment. Whether it’s for a casual dinner or a special occasion like Iftaar, this place is definitely worth a visit.

I went to Zaiqa on the 15 September in the early evening. Great portion sizes for the price point. The service by Rony was excellent, and he was very attentive and helpful throughout the evening. I ordered the Chicken Mandi (1/4 Chicken) which came with one leg (the 1/2 comes with two) a side salad and a spicy sauce (which I do not know the name of). This cost £8.50, which was very worth the price compared to other high street restaurants. It was also very tasty and the chicken was very tender. Definitely recommend!!

Had a family event and the food, service was top class. More.importantly the prices were super reasonable. The mix grill was excellent kebabs, chicken tikka and wings cooked to perfection. The lamb and chicken curry was cooked to the traditional Pakistani style and the chicken biryani was bursting with flavours. Karak chai was really good freshly made.Would definitely recommend to all.i am a foodie and have to say this was so much better than Tayyabs & Needos big names with average food!
