XIX Nineteen

The food is so delicious here!!! We ordered Nineteen for our wedding catering, and it was such a great experience!!! The food was extremely tasty, the service was nice, and the whole team was super flexible and friendly, which we appreciate a lot! I also want to thank a lot to manager Volodymyr for handling everything, we appreciate it a lot! We had an amazing experience, and very grateful to the whole team Nineteen for making it happen ❤️

I was not expecting such good taste from Ukrainian food, definitely something to try.

The place is big and can hold a big party of like 12 to 15 persons. They not only have Ukrainian food but a wide variety of sushi, salads, typical occidental dishes like hamburgers, pizza, wings, etc.

Their drink of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic is great, along with their desserts, you definitely need to try the dumplings and pancakes.

Additionally, consider a lot of the stuff is done at the moment so some dishes may take time to be served.

The waiters are very nice and they are very open to explain to you more about a certain dish or give recommendations.

Probably the best Ukrainian restaurant in London so far. Borsch will bring you back home, to your grandmothers kitchen when you were a child, chicken kyiv and mash will remind you home, and many more! The best place to experience and try Ukrainian dishes. Chef top notch! Service one love🫶🏻

Portions were huge!
The fried potato meat pancakes - WOW. Loved it!!
The chebureki was crispy and also went really well with the sour cream.
Wasn’t a huge fan of the pelmeni - felt the skin was a little too thick for me.

This restaurant is a real gem! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome and at home. The interior is stylish yet comfortable, creating the perfect atmosphere for both casual dining and special occasions. Every dish we had was full of flavor and clearly made with fresh ingredients. The service was excellent - polite, fast and very professional. Our waiter was the best and a special thanks to the receptionist for the compliment and the great live music. This is definitely a place worth visiting again. Highly recommended!

Had a lovely experience here. The food is fantastic, and amazing recommendations from our waiter, Hamid, who recommended us the Honey & Jalapeño chicken wings.  We also had the garlic prawns, and steaks. All of it was a 10/10. The mocktails are amazing too. We also tried the sticky toffee pudding, as recommended by Hamid. Will definitely be coming again. Thank you to all of the staff, and Hamid, for giving us such a lovely anniversary dinner.

Amazing food and service! The rib eye steak was cooked perfectly and the Sunday roast in a Yorkshire pudding was delicious. Also really liked the halloumi fries. Big thanks to Hamid for looking after us so well — highly recommend checking out HS&Co!

I had such a beautiful experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely stunning — every dish was full of flavour, perfectly presented, and clearly made with care. But what truly made the visit special was the service.

There was one guy working on the shop floor, and he was just incredible. So lovely, welcoming, and genuinely kind — his hospitality really stood out. Even though he was running the floor on his own, he was fast, efficient, and so calm under pressure.

Absolutely loved this place! The hospitality here is on another level – it was one of the first things that stood out for me. Ahmed was outstanding, super welcoming and really knew what to recommend – his suggestions were spot on. The food was delicious, full of flavour, and everything is halal so no worries there at all. They’ve even got a prayer space, which just shows the extra thought and care put into the experience. Overall, hospitality gets a 10/10 from me. Can’t wait to come back again – this place is a gem!

Beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere and decor! We ordered two mocktails one was a cherry one with lime and the other was mint mocktail both drinks were amazing ! For the starters we had ghost wings and calamari which was amazing for the mains we had beef roast dinner and baked salmon both were very good very filling all in all good food for amazing pricing and would defo be returning again the staff were excellent friendly and helpful.

Master Bao - Westfield Stratford City

2nd floor food hall at Westfield shopping centre Stratford. Choice of several restaurants. A friend and I chose the Taiwanese street food place.
I have never previously had Bao's. They were totally delicious. The vegetarian fried rice was a huge portion for one. It was a good thing I was with some hungry girlfriends who helped me polish it off.
If you are not fussy about slumming it with strangers listening to your conversation, and ordering then collecting your food and sitting in a food hall setting, do try this place.

Look out for their offers - 2 Baos, one side and juice for £15!

I got the crispy prawns and the noodle soup. The beef in the noodle soup was really tender but unfortunately the soup was tasteless

EDIT: I decided to try this place again and give the bao a go as it seems to be their main items. Cold fried chicken in a stale bao, and when you pick up the food the staff give you a look like you’re intruding on their private time. Cold service, cold food. Putting this and Taiwanese in the same sentence is a shame

I recently tried the Chicken Dumplings at Master Bao in Westfield Stratford, and they were absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and authentic, with the perfect balance of texture and taste.

What made the experience even better was the outstanding service. John, the manager, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. His warm hospitality truly stood out and made our visit memorable.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and excellent service!

Definitely worth a visit.

Taiwanese cuisine outlet. Have veggie, chicken, prawn options for Bao. The bun was very soft and tasteful. Ordered Chicken and Prawn bao. Crunchy and soft. They have a meal deal. 2 Bao + 1 side and 1 drink (if upgraded). Tried veggie dumplings. Was yummy with dip. Drink was Taiwanese beer (non alcoholic). Bit wierdy taste. Can try at your own risk. The restaurant is located in westgate shopping area in food outlet area. Plenty of sitting options. And lot of other cuisine combo available if going in group. Definitely plenty of paid parking.

Big Easy Bar.B.Q & Crabshack - Westfield, Stratford

Disappointing!

I have been to the Canary Wharf branch when I worked in the area and had fond memories of good food & service.  Stratford falls short of that benchmark.

Good welcome om
shown to a table very near a stage for love music later in the evening.  This area looked fine but as the evening progressed I felt they were short of a couple of servers. Long wait for orders to be taken, yes there was a couple of allergies (black pepper and soya) so it might have needed a manager.

We shared chicken  wings - great looking good for the rest. Potato skins  were OK but not special. Mains shrimp basket over cooked chewy and rubbery . I had a steak medium rare at first glance it looked well done with significant charring, inside it was fairly rare but combined it was slightly odd.  Chips with both and most of the pots were left, not crispy or particularly tasty. The third member of party sat those course out expecting to order desert but in the end suggested we cut short the evening.

£120 (including drinks but only one alcoholic drink) spent - one dish enjoyed the rest sub par.

We attended here after an event. Were able to get straight in without a booking on a Saturday which was great. Staff very helpful and friendly! The food was really good, the only thing that let it down for me was the rib tips were dry and the brioche bun needs freshly toasting or placing under a dome for a while to soften the bread. Fries we amazing!
We both had the cappucino milkshake which was so so good!
BBQ sauces on the table would be a massive plus!

All in all a good BBQ meal for slightly high price.

I had a meal at Big Easy in Stratford City and it was definitely a mixed experience. Portion sizes were generous, which was great. I ordered the Texas-style beef brisket—easily one of the tastiest things I’ve ever eaten—but unfortunately, it was served quite cold. I would have loved it to be much warmer. The coleslaw was too runny and heavy on the mayonnaise, lacking flavour. The chunky chips tasted a bit too processed for my liking. On a positive note, the beans were delicious and packed with flavour. My husband’s burger was okay, but nothing memorable. That said, the shrimps and brisket were absolutely spot on—we’ll definitely come back just for those! Service was a bit slow, but overall, we had a decent experience.

The food was very good!! I recommend the ribs and the sirloin steak. It tastes so good!! The staff is very friendly and thank you so much Anila for serving us🙏 Came back multiple times.

The lunch set is a really good deal — very yummy! The staff are friendly and welcoming, and I’ll definitely come again. Highly recommend!

HERA

Stopped by HER for lunch and absolutely loved it. The place has such a beautiful, warm interior - stylish without feeling overdone, and really inviting. The food was fresh, flavourful, and well-balanced, and everything came out at just the right pace. You can tell they put thought into both the menu and the presentation.

The food was okay but had higher expectations.
I enjoyed the king prawn spaghetti but would have preferred having the shells off. Really enjoyed the bread basket, they were warm and flavourful especially with the dips.
I did not enjoy the lamb shoulder, I didn’t like the combination of tomatoy chickpeas, I don’t think it went well together (for my taste).
The mocktail Hestia was probably the worst i’ve ever had, there was no flavour and it was tiny considering it costs £10!
Overall it was a nice experience but I will not be rushing back here.

This is my second time here, I came with my partner and we were served by a lovely waiter named Mohammed. Prefect service, very polite and even gave us some recommendations in term of drinks and dessert. Great food, can’t wait to be back

The restaurant is lovely decorated. Most of the food was delicious except for the Greek Salad which was horrible. The veggies tasted like they were chopped hours before. I can't believe they do that on such a fancy restaurant. All the items were over priced. Some of the staff seemed bored. I don't think I will come back.

Entrance - I did find it quite hard to find the entrance as it’s quite hidden, but nothing google maps can’t fix. Once I found it, it was clear as day where the restaurant was as it was such a huge building.

Food - The food was very nice. I ordered the chicken skewers and a side of potato’s, both very nice. I don’t usually finish my meals but I finished everything on my plate which is always a good sign.

Drinks - I ordered a bottle of white wine with a mini bottle of lemonade, both very nice.

Decor - Very modern and aesthetically pleasing. I really liked the decor, it was beautiful, especially in the bathroom.

Atmosphere - Very nice, chilled, not busy at all for a Friday night which is what I prefer. It was relaxing.

Cleanliness - VERY clean, not a spec of dirt. Not even in the toilets. It looked and smelt clean. No issues with cleanliness.

Total cost - £78 for myself for both food and drinks.

Customer service - The customer service was amazing, from the moment I walked in and were greeted by a very beautiful lady with (I think) a French accent. She let us choose whichever table we wanted and was very warm with her mannerisms.

The waiters and waitresses were also very very nice. Very polite and extremely attentive. They had great recommendations with the food and whenever my wine glass was empty they topped it straight back up. I haven’t experienced customer service in a restaurant that good in years.

Overall - 10/10- The food was great, the staff were even better & the atmosphere was to die for.

I would definitely return.

It doesn't look like much, but you'll find the comfort and cozy feel of London here.
We enjoyed our meal, which was very good and simple.
