The Star of Bethnal Green is a great place to come back to. The cozy atmosphere, thoughtful furniture and soft lighting create a feeling of homely warmth, and the location next to the station makes the pub convenient for meetings both in the evening and on weekends. The staff is polite and attentive — the service is fast, while never intrusive. The food and drink pubs are of high quality: a good selection of beers and cocktails, fresh and delicious classic snacks and main courses. The portions are adequate, the price-quality ratio pleases. I recommend it for meetings with friends, a relaxing evening together or an inexpensive dinner — it definitely deserves a positive assessment.

I went with a large group of friends on a Saturday evening where we went to book karaoke. I was helped by Chonni, who was in charge that evening. She was very accommodating, progressional, and lovely to deal with. We all had a great night and the atmosphere in the pub was fabulous. Definitely recommend!

A good East London boozer with warm and friendly staff, and some great burgers. A good choice of beers, including local craft breweries. I did not stay for any events, but I bet it is.lots of fun in the evenings. For me it was a nice quiet spot for a drink on a Saturday lunchtime, away for the bustle of Bethnal Green Road

We went to the pub quiz on Tuesday with Margarine and what a night it was! Only great vibes, lots of laughs, the amazing Margarine with her grace, and the staff were great and super friendly. We’ll definitely be back! Brazil loves you, Margarine!!

Hired this venue for an album launch party and it was nothing short of amazing. The space is perfect and the venue managers and staff we're incredibly accommodating of our niche requests and ensured the entire evening ran perfectly. Could not reccommend them more! Big shout out to Laura and Archie specifically!
