Looking at previous reviews I decided to try this place out because I love a good pastrami sandwich. So I decided to make the time to do it because it’s about an hour away by bus and train for me. Thankfully, I’m retired and visiting London and I figured it would be a good way to see another part of it and I wasn’t disappointed. The only problem was that I thought it would be a storefront and when I was looking for it I didn’t see it even though there’s a free standing sign out front but I wasn’t looking for a free standing sign but a storefront. Finally, I looked more closely at my google map and saw that it could be inside this store front that says, Wood Street Indoor Market and then I saw signs of The Coven of Wiches. I ordered the signature pastrami sandwich and it was very good. I had been in Paris recently and had a pastrami sandwich at a popular place there called Chlew and it was alright but wasn’t made with the quality of the meat the Coven uses. I highly recommend this place because the food is great and the atmosphere with all the other businesses around is something we just don’t have in South Florida very much and it’s one of the things that makes London great.
Over an hour and a half travel one way for the sole purpose to have this divine Philly Cheese Steak… it was more than worth it. This was perfectly seasoned and the cheese smothered the steak to the point of climax but not killing. I would sell my soul to the devil to have it again. The au jus was a gushing success. 10s across the board for food!

The best sandwiches in the UK. 666% Vegan. Their signature huge sandwich is with Vegan pastrami. Authentic and amazing service. As most of their sandwiches contain soy and I am intolerant. They kindly made me the most amazing flavoursome sourdough sandwich with asparagus, tomatoes, avocado, spinach and rocket. These sandwiches are a complete meal. Memorable. Thank you
