Food: Lovely food. The platter was great and good portions. The chops, pulled beef, strips were yummy. The wings could have been a bit tastier. Price: Great price for the food and quality. Atmosphere: Very nice and comfortable. Perfect for couples, families or friends. We went for a birthday and 8 of us ate. Service: Amazing service. The staff were great and got a complimentary Chai Latte.

I have been here for brunch several times now and it’s a go to for me because of how great the food is, the friendliness of the staff and the fact that it’s a nice family oriented place to have a meal. The portions are great and the price is very competitive. There is a queue outside at times but it is worth the wait. Had to wait a while today with my husband and they handed out little hot chocolates to us and others waiting which was a lovely touch and shows their commitment to providing a great service. Highly recommend a visit to The Connaught for brun.

We visited this place for dinner, met with a smiley welcome, very helpful and accommodating. Beef fries were the best - husband was hungry - went down well. The chicken steak and angus steak were nice and tender. I preferred the peppercorn sauce over the mushroom one. Loved it! Thank you We had a complimentary chai latte from our friendly staff. Highly recommend this place.

I had the chicken steak with mash and vegetables, and it was absolutely fantastic. The chicken was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning. The mash was smooth and buttery, and the vegetables were fresh and perfectly cooked—still with a bit of bite, just how I like them. The dish was well presented, showing real care from the kitchen. It looked as good as it tasted, and for the quality, the price was very reasonable. You can tell the chef put real effort into the dish—top marks for flavor, texture, and presentation. While I was there, I also noticed the breakfast plates and platters being served to other tables. They looked just as impressive, and I’ll definitely be back soon to try them.

What a positive vibe in the cafe a lot of well behaved youngsters in the cafe who are running the show. Its look like that i am at Michelin star cafe excellent culinary experience. Prices are very affordable as compared to presentation. They know the art of running the cafe. Visited this town after 27 years and this cafe was a surprise. Wish them best of Luck. Coffee beans were strong. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. its feels like home made food.
