We ordered the Afgani Tawa grill 4-6 & the Mix Grill 3-4, everything was very tasty n the butter nans too! Excellent tawa’s n grills! The staff services were 10/10 n very polite n considerate. The generous lady sever she was lovely n very helpful! Only let down by a star are the mocktails! Lacked quality n average n too expensive! But asides that, it’s a must try, I’d be back again for the Tawa’s solely! Thanks guys👊🏾😋

The food was amazing, way bigger portions than I thought, and the service was great! I ate way more than usual, those tawa dishes were a fantastic idea. Thanks for a wonderful dinner, I'd definitely recommend it.

Ordered Lahori platter, the rice were dry and crackling, like microwaved/plastic rice.Chicken was dry, Karahi was below average in taste, the only good thing was the grill, which had some flavour. Low quality but pretty expensive for the quality. This platter was £95.

The place was small but you can’t fault the service and food. Had the Gol Gappey as a starter and must say the imli pani was absolutely amazing it was sweet and sour and having it with the puri was absolutely awesome when the favours just burst into the mouth in one bite. After this we had the Lahori Tawa Grill which we really enjoyed the variety of meats each with its own flavour was really tasty and even the curry’s and rice had a really nice flavour. Overall an enjoyable experience would recommend.

🌟 Tawa Grill – A Hidden Gem in Ilford! I recently visited Tawa Grill on Cranbrook Road, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the warm aroma of sizzling spices and grilled meats that instantly whet your appetite. 🍽️ Food Highlights The mixed grill platter was the star of the show—perfectly marinated lamb chops, juicy chicken tikka, and tender ribs, all served with fluffy Afghani naan and a vibrant chutney. The chapli kebab had that authentic Peshawari kick, and the kabuli pilau was rich and aromatic. Every bite felt like a celebration of bold, traditional flavours. 👨‍🍳 Service & Atmosphere The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The ambiance is relaxed and welcoming, ideal for both casual dinners and family gatherings. Despite being busy, the service was prompt and professional. 💰 Value for Money Portions were generous, and the pricing felt fair considering the quality and variety offered. It’s a great spot if you’re looking to indulge without breaking the bank. 🎯 Final Verdict Tawa Grill is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic grilled dishes with a South Asian twist. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Ilford, this place deserves a spot on your foodie map.
