The Taste of Lahore reminded of restaurants in Pakistan with the over abundance of bright track lighting and chandeliers. The food and service were fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed every dish. We ordered the Chapli kebab, masala fish, tandoori chicken wings, and Seekh kebabs. Each dish was executed perfectly and full of flavor. Two of my friends never had Chapli kebabs before and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend for traditional Pakistani food and great service.
I visited Test of Lahore in Edgware and while the ambiance was nice, the experience overall was disappointing. Coming from Canada, I expected authentic Pakistani food to really stand out, but honestly I’ve had better taste back home in Calgary. The service was quite slow — our BBQ dishes arrived about 20 minutes before the naan and other mains, which meant the BBQ got cold by the time we could actually eat it. The food itself was just average, nothing memorable. With so many good reviews, I was hoping for more. Unfortunately, the slow service and average flavors didn’t make it worth the wait.
We had a wonderful experience in this restaurant. The food was sooo good. Specially the rice & the chicken korma. Excellent service by the staff. Thank you Emmy for your excellent service
having read the reviews, finally managed to visit for the first time. we went for the tawa which had a good range of options on there to share between 4 people. it tasted amazing! absolutely loved it. prices are very high but I guess it’s bc of the area. we had to ask for sauces and there were no complimentary salads etc, service was okay. they do add service charge so check before you pay as the bill will be extortionate. but great tasting food!
Great busy restaurant with friendly staff and efficient service. I had only mixed kebab, fries and soft drink and it was very tasty and hot. I could see the curries and other options on other tables and it also looked delicious and good portions. Will definately make a return trip when in the area for lovely Pakistani food.
