I’ve eaten here a few times now, and to be honest it has been very consistent. The steaks are always cooked exactly how I like them and the flavours are fantastic. Customer service is also very good. I can’t really fault this place. It is a little pricey but it’s not an everyday thing. The meat is all halal.
recently had the beef steak here, and honestly, it was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The steak came out perfectly cooked…juicy, tender, and full of flavor with every bite. You can tell they really know how to handle good quality meat and cook it just right. It wasn’t overdone or underdone, just spot on, which is rare to find these days. The portion size was generous, and it felt like real value for money considering the quality. The seasoning was simple but balanced, letting the natural flavor of the beef shine through. I didn’t feel like it was drowned in sauces or overcomplicated …..it was just a proper, well-executed steak. The sides complemented the meal really well too, fresh and not greasy. Together with the steak, it made for a satisfying plate that leaves you full but not heavy. Service-wise, everything was smooth. The staff were friendly, attentive, and quick without being intrusive, which makes a big difference when you’re out to enjoy a meal. The atmosphere of the place added to the experience cozy, welcoming, and comfortable enough to sit back and enjoy without feeling rushed. Overall, this is the kind of spot I’d recommend to anyone who appreciates a good steak. It’s definitely worth coming back for, and I’ll be doing exactly that. If you’re in the area and craving beef cooked properly, this place won’t disappoint.
Ok wow What an experience- we didn’t know what to expect. The place was dead. To put it politely. Although it was a Monday night. There were a few people in for deliveries but yeah. They also had no Coca Cola or Pepsi, so we had the new thing. It was great. The pictures will tell the story but only so much. The food here is fantastic: Layla served us, she was so attentive throughout, entertaining and charming. Really lovely young lady Now for the starter - I had the Nachos with oozing cheese and spinach- this reinvented the concept of nachos for us. And we aren’t going back to crisps on a plate with splodges - this is the only way to have them. Mike, my love, he had the onion rings, these were hand made, crispy batter with a lovely sauce. Then for the meat, we both had lamb with the house sauce and it was unbelievable and excellent value as well especially for the area. Highly recommended
In terms of atmosphere that was all fine. No music playing which is what I prefer and the place wasn't loud. The waiters don't annoy you. I liked the atmosphere very much. The service was great. Everyone was helpful and accommodating. I did make a small complaint about the chips which I'll elaborate on later but the guy just said okay and did nothing about that which I thought was poor hence the 4/5 star rating. Besides that it deserves a 5. We started off by sharing a few mix grills between 6 people, you basically get in one mix grill, 3 lamb chips, 3 chicken strips and 3 wings. The wings were the highlight for me the chicken fell off the bone and all of the food had good levels of heat it wasn't overly spicy but perfect amount of spice and there's home made chilli sauce on the table which was delicious and gives you extra spice if you want it. You can even ask for spicy if that's what you want. For mains we all had the 340g fillet mignon steak cooked medium. They cooked it perfectly as we asked. It was a nice big heavy portion a lot of smaller people will struggle with that but it'll fill you up till bed time. It was juicy, tender and we had the one marinaded with steakout spices so it has solid flavour, I cannot fault the steak. We also tried the chicken steak which was juicy and wasn't dry. The spice level was perfect and it was butterflied so it wasn't thick. No issues with this either. For the sides we had macaroni cheese which was good, nothing special. It was cheesy and tasted like decent macaroni, I've had a lot better but it's still decent. We also had steak chips but we found a lot of our steak chips were raw from the center, they were busy so they probably rushed it. I personally think they should have taken this off the bill but they just played it off. I didn't argue it, I definitely could have but the rest of the food was solid hence why I didn't bother. The garlic sauce for the steak was very garlicy which garlic lovers will be happy about it was nice but too strong for me. The peppercorn sauce was my favourite really flavourful and complimented the steak and chips perfectly. The mushroom sauce was nice too maybe a little watery but not bad like it was inedible, it still tasted good. Personally, I would say have the peppercorn sauce and the home made chilli sauce which is on the table. The table also has heinz ketchup and Hellman's mayonnaise. The kids had chicken strips and fries and pop corn chicken and fries. The chips were skin on fries which were perfectly cooked. The chicken strips were delicious and the popcorn chicken was fine perfect for kids. We also had the guava mocktail which was delicious unfortunately I have no picture of this. I would recommend this drink it's quite sweet so if you don't like sweet drinks it won't be for you. The place I would say is a bit pricey but worth it if you love steaks. I've had it before and the chips were fine but this time they weren't so this isn't a regular problem I imagine and you can just send them back to cook properly. Also, everything is halal and no alcohol is served here so perfect for Muslims. A lot of seating is available, additional seating downstairs. I would say make a reservation after 6pm they get very busy they had queues outside today but that might be because it was Eid. I'd give this place 9/10. Some minor improvements can be made to make this place better and I'd appreciate if they took the initiative to rectify problematic food instead of me having to push for that, it's basic customer service. Again, I know I could have sent it back but they were busy and the steaks were out I couldn't be asked waiting for chips whilst my steak got cold or eat chips alone. On busy days maybe get fries to avoid this.
This is the third time we have visited steakout and each time improves! Both previous times we went an hour before closing yet the staff still served us and were friendly but today we decided to visit earlier and we were pleased we did. Both Ibrahim and Bazil (apologies if spelt wrong) were beyond kind and helpful. Not only did Bazil inform us of a deal for us to save money and get more out of our order but he also corrected a mistake made immediately after it was mentioned and let us keep the extra food! Very attentive and often came to ask if everything was okay which shows how much they care about their customers. The steak was cooked to perfection, the rice soft and packed with flavour, the vegetables soft and paired perfectly with the food and the pepper sauce was a delight!! Thank you to the management and staff that were working today for making the experience wonderful!
