Came to East Ham for dosa, but the place we’d been recommended wasn’t serving it - we walked up the road to find Sangeetha and I’m glad we did! The dosa itself was incredible - so crispy, and the paneer masala was delicious. The sambar might be the best I’ve ever had too. Service was very friendly and our food arrived very quickly. The prices are also very cheap for London! We’ll definitely be back.
The food and vibe was very similar to any Sangeetha in Chennai. The Dosa and chapati kurma were excellent. Mini idli was a bit disappointing. The service could also be better. We had to ask for water, and missing items in our order multiple times as it seemed like they kept forgetting. The prices are very economical!
While I was in various meetings in London, I was looking for the best vegetarian restaurant in East London—and I am so glad I found this place. Tasty, quality food, reasonably priced, a clean and welcoming environment, and excellent table service from the waiter Manoj (I think that was his name). Would strongly recommend if you're in the mood for great vegetarian food! Cheers.
Sangeetha is yet another standout gem in East Ham for anyone craving top-quality South Indian food. The flavours here are bold, authentic, and absolutely satisfying—and the best part is how perfectly priced everything is for the quality you get. The Gobi Manchurian is hands-down a must-have—crispy, spicy, and packed with flavour. It was the highlight of our meal! We also loved the sambar vada, which was comforting and full of depth. The poori masala was light and delicious, and the ghee roast dosa had that perfect crisp and richness you expect. Even the mango lassi was spot on—refreshing and not overly sweet. If you’re in East Ham and love South Indian food, this place is a no-brainer. Delicious food, great value, and a menu full of dishes that’ll keep you coming back for more.
Wonderful and cheap food here. Everything is vegetarian and so tasty. The thali has about 9 different dishes and came with rice and roti. The chickpeas were delicious and the puris the size of the table. Plenty of room and have a downstairs as well for private events.
