Food is very good here . I would recommend the mici and cartofi prăjiți and the papanasi desert. I can't really say that I like the atmosphere there because of the 'famous manele music' but overall it's a good place to eat romanian food.

Visited many times and always was nice but last week when visited again with family was very disappointing! There I am guessing new waitresses(boy and girl)none of them speak English at all,I understand it’s romanian restaurant but there many different ones so people speaks English! I have to repeat my order many times because boy can’t understand what we want ,brought it beer we newer asked for, while taking order from us at same time speaks in romanian to others !this is very unprofessional and disrespectful,I am paying for food not eating for free ,chef changed I think also as rice with garlic not as delicious as it was before, same with crab plate from fish menus . There one guy who speaks English and who has professional manners of serving but he wasn’t there on afternoon time ,food not cheap so service should be much way higher, each time we go each time we spend around 150£/170£ for 2 adults and 2 kids ,this is definitely our last visit . Not coming back again

Not a nice place, to be honest. First thing: they charge full price a coffee (£3.5 same as any other shop), but they use instant 3in1 satchels which are disgusting. They should invest in a proper coffee machine. Second thing: the food. I had the mixed grill which is a staple for Romanian cuisine. Where do I begin? The "mici" were disgusting, definitely not fresh (frozen?), and uneatable. The pork shoulder was ok....but not the best. The grilled chicken wings looked like they have seen other tables before. The sausage.....is a sausage. Can't go wrong with that as you just buy them from a shop and slap them on a grill. The grilled chicken was quite chewy. I asked if they used good, fresh romanian tomatoes for the salad, waiter said 100%. The tomatoes that came in the salad resembled the ones you can buy for 50p in iceland or lidl. I recommend this place if you just want some drinks....but based on what I tasted, I don't recommend the food.
