I’ve been hearing about this place for a while now, but I never had the chance to try it until my first visit. The seating is downstairs and quite small, but it’s cosy. We were lucky to get a table quickly. We ordered the Haji Platter, which was more than enough for us four girls. It came with three smash burgers, kebab, wings, chicken strips, fried prawns, chips with brisket, and coleslaw. There were also three drinks included. The best part of the platter was the brisket and smash burgers! The burgers were so juicy and melted in your mouth. The brisket was full of flavour and soft. I usually don’t like lamb doner, but this one was nice and spicy. The chicken strips were fried with a light batter and covered in a creamy sauce. The service was great and the staff was really attentive. We did have a bit of a problem with the lights flickering, but the staff quickly turned them off and gave us lamps instead. Overall, we really enjoyed the food here and will definitely come back again.

Went there for my birthday. The place was busy as the food was good and reasonably priced. The platter we ordered was way too big for us, and we had to ask for a takeaway as we only finished 25% of the platter. Again, the platter (£90) was monstrous, enough to serve 8 people, imo. Taste was very good, alhamdulillah. Unfortunately, you can't book a table in advance due to the sitting capacity as the sitting space is in the basement and very cosy, limited to accommodate a small number of people. I think they would definitely benefit from having a larger place. The food is halal and tasty, and the owner is very humble. May Allah give baraka to the business.

I’ve traveled a few times to eat their food, I must say the first couple times when they first opened the food was amazing. However my most recent experience was very disappointing, the chicken wings smelt, the chips were fried in a mixed/old oil, the kebab was very oily and the ‘naga’ flavour was non existent. After almost spending £100, I would’ve liked to be left satisfied with the food. My genuine words of advice would be to start focusing on quality once again and try to bring back the original flavour which the food once had.

My Friends and I visited Phat for life for the first time after hearing so much about it and thought we would give it a try. My expectations were high as it had been recommended by a number of my foodie friends. I can honestly say the Food was 10/10, they really are the Naga Kings, I went for the Jaal Doner and it was top tier. The Staff were friendly and recommended some dishes off the menu. If you are looking to eat in, I highly advise to call them to ask how long the queue is, we had to wait around an hour as it was very busy but definitely worth the wait. To finish it off I grabbed one of their Karak chais on my way out and that was by far one of the best karaks I've had, I cant wait to go back soon.
