Papi mixes the freshest of produce with ingenious flavor combinations! It’s all plated beautifully and served with a friendly smile. The cucumber dish is a must, and so is the corn with the garlic butter! Do not skip the dessert because there is no better way to end the meal at Papi 🤌🏽

Wife and I went for lunch a few weeks ago and we had a blast! Relaxed vibe with a killer playlist - a table got up an danced it was that good. The food is magnificent, but not pretentious at all. One of the things that made our experience great, was for that weekend only they were doing a fun thing where you could order 'a glass of wine' and then you get whatever the next bottle to be open is. So we had a different wine every time and they were all fantastic! I think they should do this all the time as it's just fun. Sure, I could open a wine list and order a different glass every time, but this was 'okay the next wine is...'. which made it a very memorable experience. I ordered two of the same puddings and I don't regret it. The only thing I'd say is it was a bit spenny. We had the Nightkey app and even then it was on the pricey side. But that being said, I have every intention of going again.

Wow! The best taramasalata I've ever had, and that was the dish I almost didn't order! An amazing Saturday night dinner, every dish was simply delicious, some of the very best food I've had in London for a long time. Chef, Matthew is cooking up a storm in this great restaurant that I'm delighted is so local to our home and is supported by charming and attentive staff who do a fine job of looking after the diner. My only regret is that it took us too long to get round to eating here before, I very much hope it won't be long before we get to enjoy a return visit! I'm sorry I didn't photograph my food - I was way too busy enjoying it!

As much as I was excited to finally try on Papi restaurant, as much I’ve been disappointed of my experience there. We started with the £1 Oysters and we can’t really complain on such a bargain. My partner and I ordered a main + a salad. That’s when things get messy. His plate has been served while I’ve been waiting 15+ minutes for my fish to arrive. There’s nothing worse to spend an evening out for dinner but not being able to eat together… It would have been so simple to get the fish ready first to serve it with the vegetables main of my partner and the side salad we ordered. The staff were cute but the experience was already ruined…

Look - this place is simply outstanding. Go there as soon as possible. I have no idea why it's not always completely packed (I have only been at lunchtime). The depth of flavour on every dish is on point, it's an imaginative menu, and the wine list is honestly cray cray. Charlie in front of house is a treasure. If you like fab small plates and great wines you should add it to your list. Just thinking about it now - the lovely bitter taste of the radicchio. the taramasalata made with trout roe, served with some of the best french fries i have ever had. but dear lord that taramasalata. one of those things i always think i should like, way more than i actually do. here's it's just delicious. the basque cheese cake. oh my days. book a table.
