Really nice family pub, feels very local but also classy, if that makes sense, in terms of not grubby pub vibes but not gastro either. Good selection on Sunday roasts and the dessert was to die for!!
Classic English pub. Well off the tourist areas, so it requires a bit of determination to get there. Staff is super friendly. It's a great place to immerse yourself in real life London. Enjoy the authentic fish 'n chips!
Great slap up roast! We arrived at 7:30pm and they still weren’t sold out, gravy was so delicious we ordered chips to soak up the leftovers. Roast came out super quick and we were served almost immediately. Ellie, Phoebe and Isla were all super attentive, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
The vegan selection was disappointing, so I didn't have high hopes, but this was the best meal I have had all year. I was dancing as I was eating cause it was so blooody nice! I had the mushroom hoison spring roll for starter, and the tomato salad for main. .. way more then just a salad, the vegan cheese was amazing, the flavours were fresh and rich all at the same time. I will deffo be back!!!
The best pub in the area, 10/10, serves the best of the best staff and managers. Still has that unique old school pub feel with everything else that makes a neighbourhood brilliant. #bowE3
