Had lunch at Bamboo-Mat Stratford and it was a great experience! The ambiance is stylish and modern, and the food was fresh and full of flavor. The service was also friendly and quick. Highly recommended.

Best tasting menu I’ve ever had! For £62 per person you get extremely large plates of delicious dishes that reflects Japanese and Peruvian cuisine. Not only was the food astonishing, the service was fantastic as well. Highly recommend this place over chotto matte

Had seen alot of 5/5 reviews so I thought I would come and try out Bamboo Mat. To be honest it was empty, so I couldn't really judge the atmosphere. Service was ok, but nothing special. Food was good, nice sushi, menu had a good variety to choose from. One of the stand out dishes was the octopus. Overall I think a 3/5 is a true reflection compared to all the Japanese restaurants I have visited.

I recently visited this venue with two friends of mine. Both of my friends brought their kids, two babies and one toddler. The staff made us feel very welcomed and were patient with us. The food was amazing, we ordered the tastings menus and all the dishes had so much flavour. The grilled octopus was cooked to perfection. It’s hard to pick the fav dishes because all of them were super lovely and the presentation was fantastic. Will be returning.
