I have been there with family of four and tried their Beef Koduttam and garlic naan as a stater. We saved the Al Zayt special plater for the mains. The food was good and delicious however we ask for some spice with the a beef Koduttam and was denied. Highly recommend their Lemon juice Jug. That one is 10/10. The tables and cutlery was clean but could be polished and that applies to the glassware as well. Will be back to see if there is any progress. Thanks for having us as a walk-in guest today. We had an incredible dining experience! The food was bursting with flavor we ordered the mandi and alfahm chicken, both of which were outstanding. My only suggestion would be to increase the size of the alfahm chicken plate, as the plate was a bit small and made it challenging to enjoy the meal properly. The restaurant was a bit smoky, but the delicious taste made it worth it. We also ordered black tea, which took quite a while to arrive. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I definitely plan to come back!
Tried the Honey Alfaham Mandi and Chicken Pollichathu and both were absolutely flavorful! 🍗🔥 The mandi came with perfectly spiced rice topped with juicy, smoky chicken glazed in a touch of honey – rich and satisfying. The chicken pollichathu was bursting with bold spices, tender meat, and a beautiful hit of herbs. 🌿 Each bite felt like a burst of authentic taste. If you’re craving a mix of aromatic rice dishes and spicy grilled delights, Alzayt is a must-visit! 🙌
I had the afgani chicken which was absolutely delicious as well as the naan bread! The rice dish was also good but not superior. Atmosphere was okay. All in all still a good experience and would recommend.
The food at Al Zayt Restaurant is absolutely amazing! We regularly order their peri peri, alfaham, and mandi, and it's always so yummy and packed with flavour. While the atmosphere inside can be a bit congested, the staff are very nice and friendly. The delicious food and budget-friendly prices make it our go-to spot. Highly recommend!
